Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway has been thrown a lifeline by her generous friends as she deals with a staggering £1.65million in debt. The beloved ITV presenter is currently enjoying some downtime with her family after her “amazing” pals arranged for her to borrow a shiny new car.

Taking to Instagram, Kate shared a clip of herself and her dad packing up the new Volvo, ready for a much-needed family getaway to Cornwall. In her post, Kate expressed her gratitude: “We haven’t had a car since Vickie Volvo was stolen and Percy Peugeot had to go back but thanks to some amazing friends who’ve helped me loan a brand new @volvocaruk C90 – I absolutely love it!!!!! Not an advert just a passion!”.
