Tottenham Shift Focus to Extraordinary Star Who Wants to Join Following Tonali Capture

Tottenham Hotspur have been one of the busiest clubs in the transfer market this summer, but their spending spree is far from over.

After finishing 17th in the Premier League for a second straight season, Spurs have backed new manager Roberto De Zerbi with significant funds to reshape the squad. The Italian has already welcomed Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Martin Dubravka, Jan Paul van Hecke and Mateus Fernandes, while the club have also agreed a £100 million deal to sign Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United.

With midfield reinforcements nearly complete, Tottenham have now shifted their attention to strengthening the attack. Although Crysencio Summerville has been monitored, transfer expert Ben Jacobs says Manchester City winger Savinho has emerged as Spurs’ top priority.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Jacobs revealed that while Manchester United are in talks with West Ham over Summerville, Tottenham’s main focus remains on Savinho. The Brazilian is reportedly keen on the move and has already agreed personal terms with Spurs, although negotiations with Manchester City continue over a transfer fee. City are believed to value the 21-year-old at around £60 million.

Savinho joined Manchester City from Troyes in 2024 after an outstanding loan spell at Girona, where his pace, flair and creativity earned widespread praise. Even Pep Guardiola described him as “extraordinary,” underlining the youngster’s immense potential. Despite struggling for consistent minutes at the Etihad, Tottenham believe De Zerbi can help revive his best form.

With Spurs determined to continue their ambitious rebuild, Savinho has become their leading attacking target, and discussions are expected to continue as the club push to complete another major signing in the coming weeks.
