Liverpool seriously interested in €90m-rated Felix Nmecha

Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha ahead of a potential move in a future transfer window. The 25-year-old Germany international has attracted attention from both Liverpool and Manchester City.

According to reports from Fussball News, both clubs have been keeping detailed scouting reports on Nmecha, with scouts reportedly watching him in action for Dortmund. Liverpool are said to be looking for a midfielder who can provide athleticism, dynamism, creativity and technical quality.

Dortmund are reportedly demanding around €80–90 million for the midfielder. Nmecha is under contract with the German club until 2030, meaning Dortmund are under little pressure to sell. Liverpool have reportedly not yet opened formal negotiations, so there is currently no agreement or concrete offer.

Manchester City are also monitoring the situation. Nmecha previously came through Manchester City’s academy, before establishing himself in Germany with Wolfsburg and later Dortmund.

For Liverpool, the interest appears connected to their plans for midfield depth and competition. Reports also point to uncertainty surrounding Wataru Endo’s long-term future and speculation around Alexis Mac Allister, although these remain separate transfer reports.

At this stage, Nmecha remains a reported target rather than a player Liverpool are close to signing. The €80–90m valuation could be a major factor in whether the Reds decide to pursue the deal.
