🚨 BREAKING: Tottenham reveal Roberto De Zerbi sack decision as ‘nobody better’ claim sends shockwaves through Spurs
Tottenham have reportedly decided against making any changes to Roberto De Zerbi’s position despite the club’s difficult start to the season, according to TEAMtalk. The claim has reportedly surprised Spurs supporters given the team’s current position in the Premier League.
De Zerbi arrived in the spring and helped Tottenham avoid relegation, collecting 11 points from his final seven matches of the campaign. The club then showed significant faith in him during the summer transfer window, spending more than £300 million on new players, including Sandro Tonali, Savio and Mateus Fernandes.
However, that major investment has yet to produce the desired results. Spurs have collected only two points from their opening five league matches and currently sit bottom of the table. They also failed to score in the Premier League until the 86th minute of their 3-2 defeat to Aston Villa.

Despite the international break providing an opportunity to make a managerial change, TEAMtalk reports that Tottenham have no plans to consider De Zerbi’s future. The club’s hierarchy are reportedly still firmly behind the manager and believe there is nobody better suited to take charge and turn the situation around.
According to the report, Tottenham’s hierarchy are currently more concerned by the players’ performances than De Zerbi’s management, with the club seemingly determined to give the Italian more time to change their fortunes.
The reasoning behind Tottenham’s stance is that, with 10 new signings still adapting to their teammates and the manager’s system, De Zerbi needs time to develop consistency and team chemistry. The club also wants to avoid another period of managerial instability.
However, that patience may not last forever. If results fail to improve across the next five matches, Tottenham could reassess the situation before the November international break.
