Xavi Simons appears to back Tottenham’s latest big-money transfer rumour ahead of the summer window.

Tottenham’s summer rebuild is already beginning to take shape after Spurs secured Premier League survival. Verbal agreements have reportedly been reached for Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson, although Juventus are still trying to hijack Robertson’s move to North London.

Despite those talks, Spurs remain eager to strengthen their attack, with fresh reports claiming the club have revived their interest in Savinho after missing out on the winger last summer.

Internal discussions are believed to be underway, while the Brazilian is said to be open to joining Tottenham. Interestingly, Xavi Simons appeared to approve of the rumours after liking Fabrizio Romano’s Instagram post about the potential transfer.

Simons is currently recovering from a devastating ACL injury suffered against Wolves and is not expected to return until next year, meaning Spurs are short of attacking depth alongside Wilson Odobert’s absence.

The Dutch midfielder recently urged the club to begin rebuilding after a difficult campaign, and the latest transfer activity suggests Tottenham are already moving quickly to reshape the squad for next season.
