Liverpool are reportedly advancing their move for an “integral” £21.6m Champions League finalist, with a possible swap deal being considered.

Liverpool are expected to undergo a major squad reshuffle this summer, with players such as Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konaté all facing potential exits, while more departures could follow.

Curtis Jones is also among those linked with a move away, having struggled for regular minutes and attracting interest from Inter Milan. Reports from Gazzetta dello Sport via Sport Witness claim Liverpool remain keen on Inter wing-back Denzel Dumfries, whose £21.6m release clause makes him a realistic target, with Jones potentially heading the other way in a swap deal.

With Conor Bradley’s long-term knee injury and uncertainty over Jeremie Frimpong’s adaptation, Liverpool are in need of reinforcement at right-back. Although Dumfries is 29 and not a long-term investment, he is viewed as a reliable short-term solution thanks to his experience, attacking output and consistency at the top level, including multiple Champions League finals with Inter Milan.
