Tottenham receive Eli Junior Kroupi transfer boost as Bournemouth close in on Alvaro Rodriguez.

Tottenham Hotspur are set to resume talks with Eli Junior Kroupi’s representatives as they step up their pursuit of the French forward, although Bournemouth are expected to demand at least £90 million.

Kroupi is understood to be keen on a move to North London, with Spurs increasingly confident a deal can be reached.

The Cherries appear to be preparing for his possible departure, having entered advanced negotiations to sign Elche striker Alvaro Rodriguez. The 21-year-old, a former Real Madrid academy player, is close to agreeing a five-year contract.

Since Rodriguez and Kroupi play similar roles, Bournemouth are unlikely to keep both in the squad next season, giving Spurs added encouragement.

However, Tottenham face competition for Kroupi’s signature, with Arsenal also monitoring the highly-rated attacker.

The 20-year-old scored 13 Premier League goals in 33 appearances last season and set a new record for the most goals by a teenager in a debut Premier League campaign. His versatility allows him to play through the middle or on the wing, making him an ideal option to compete with Dominic Solanke and potentially replace Richarlison if the Brazilian leaves this summer.

Having already strengthened their defence and midfield, Spurs are now turning their full attention to reinforcing the attack.
