Alexis Mac Allister sends blunt message after Liverpool’s frustrating Fulham draw

Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has reacted to the Reds’ disappointing 0-0 draw against Fulham at Anfield with a short but telling message.

Liverpool struggled to find their rhythm throughout the match and were unable to break down a disciplined Fulham defence. Despite pushing for a late winner, the Reds ultimately had to settle for a point.

Mac Allister came off the bench in the second half as Liverpool looked for a spark, but the Argentine could not help his side find the breakthrough.

Following the frustrating result, Mac Allister took to Instagram and posted seven simple words:

“Not enough. Heads down and keep working.”

The message perfectly reflected Liverpool’s disappointment after dropping two points at home. The result also continued a difficult start to the Premier League campaign, with the team still searching for greater consistency under new manager Andoni Iraola.

Liverpool had entered the match with confidence after their impressive Champions League victory over Atlético Madrid, but they were unable to carry that momentum into their league meeting with Fulham.

Mac Allister’s message suggests the players know there is plenty of work to do and that the team must quickly improve ahead of their next fixture.

🔴 Liverpool fans will be hoping this setback becomes motivation for a stronger response in the coming games.
