Liverpool and Arsenal’s interest in Real Madrid defender Trent Alexander-Arnold and a potential January transfer situation. The report says the two Premier League clubs could be interested in bringing the 27-year-old back to England, although the situation is complicated by his current Real Madrid contract.
Full story
Liverpool and Arsenal have reportedly been linked with a potential move for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who left Liverpool for Real Madrid and is now being discussed as a possible Premier League transfer target.
Alexander-Arnold remains one of the most technically gifted right-backs in European football, particularly because of his passing range, crossing ability and set-piece threat. The reports suggest Arsenal could see him as a way of adding another creative dimension to their right side.
For Liverpool, any return would obviously represent a major transfer development given Alexander-Arnold’s long association with the club. However, there is currently no indication of an agreed transfer or formal Liverpool bid.
The reports also claim Real Madrid could consider selling if the right financial offer arrives, with a figure in the region of €70–80 million mentioned in connection with Arsenal’s interest.
At this stage, the story should be treated as transfer interest rather than a completed deal. Liverpool and Arsenal monitoring a player does not mean either club has reached an agreement with Real Madrid.
