Tottenham Hotspur supporters have grown increasingly frustrated with the club’s direction under ENIC and the Lewis Family, and fan confidence appears to be at an all-time low even after Daniel Levy’s removal as chairman nearly a year ago.
Spurs endured another disastrous Premier League campaign, finishing 17th for the second consecutive season and narrowly avoiding relegation to the Championship after securing a tense 1-0 victory over Everton on the final day of the season.
Many fans believe several costly mistakes were made throughout the 2025/26 campaign, with sporting director Johan Lange receiving heavy criticism. Supporters point to the prolonged backing of Thomas Frank despite his struggles, as well as Tottenham’s lack of major reinforcements in January, with Conor Gallagher arriving as the club’s only experienced signing despite clear attacking issues.
Calls for Lange’s departure have continued to grow, with many supporters demanding the appointment of a top-level sporting director capable of leading a club with serious Champions League ambitions.
According to reports from The Athletic’s Jack Pitt-Brooke, Tottenham are now considering a major front-office reshuffle that could see a world-class sporting director arrive at the club. The report also suggests Spurs may move away from their original plan of keeping Lange in a reduced role, with the possibility of him leaving the executive structure entirely.
While Lange has received some praise for helping identify young talents such as Lucas Bergvall and Souza, many fans believe Tottenham need stronger leadership at executive level after disappointing spells at both Aston Villa and Spurs.
Supporters are now hoping the club finally makes the bold front-office move they have been demanding for years as Tottenham look to rebuild following another turbulent season.
