LIVERPOOL RECEIVE POSITIVE NEWS ON BRADLEY BARCOLA AFTER TRAINING ABSENCE

Liverpool fans have been given reassuring news after Bradley Barcola was noticeably absent from the club’s team training session on Thursday.

The French winger, who joined Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain in a reported £106 million deal in August, has featured in all nine matches played by the Reds since his arrival, starting six of them.

His absence from Thursday’s session initially raised questions about his fitness, especially with Liverpool preparing for their upcoming Premier League clash against Brighton.

However, Sky Sports reporter Vinny O’Connor has clarified that Barcola’s absence was not believed to be injury-related.

According to the reporter, the 24-year-old was undergoing an individual recovery session rather than training with the rest of the squad. This suggests Liverpool are managing his workload following a demanding run of fixtures.

Barcola was not the only player missing from the session. Victor Munoz, Jeremie Frimpong and Dominik Szoboszlai were also absent, alongside long-term injury concerns Hugo Ekitike, Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni.

The latest update should ease concerns among Liverpool supporters, although further clarification from head coach Andoni Iraola will help determine Barcola’s availability for the Brighton match.

With Liverpool facing a busy schedule, managing players’ fitness will be crucial as the Reds look to maintain their momentum.
