🚨 Milos Kerkez Leaves Hungary Camp Early — Reason Revealed
Liverpool defender Milos Kerkez has returned to his club earlier than expected after leaving the Hungary national team camp ahead of their final game of the international break.
The Hungarian Football Federation confirmed that Kerkez will miss Monday’s clash against Ukraine because he is suspended after collecting his second yellow card of the Nations League campaign.
The Liverpool left-back had featured in Hungary’s previous matches and was also on the scoresheet during their 1–0 victory over Georgia, scoring his first senior international goal.
However, after receiving another booking against Georgia, Kerkez reached the suspension limit and became unavailable for the upcoming meeting with Ukraine.
With no further international duty for him during this break, the 22-year-old has been allowed to leave the camp and return to Liverpool.
The early return could prove useful for Liverpool, as Kerkez now has additional time to rest and prepare for the Reds’ next Premier League fixture against Manchester City on October 11.
For Liverpool, having Kerkez back earlier than expected is a welcome boost as the club prepares for a major Premier League clash.
