Despite making just five appearances last season, Ben Davies is set to extend his remarkable stay at Tottenham Hotspur after agreeing a new one-year contract.

The Welsh defender, who joined Spurs from Swansea City in 2014, is the club’s longest-serving current player and has gone on to make 363 appearances in all competitions. His new deal will keep him in North London for a 13th season, further cementing his place among Tottenham’s most loyal servants.
