Iraola reveals his plan for Bradley Barcola after frustrating Fulham draw
Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has called for patience with new signing Bradley Barcola following the Reds’ disappointing 0-0 draw against Fulham at Anfield.
Barcola was one of Liverpool’s more lively attacking players, but the £123m winger was unable to make the decisive difference as Liverpool struggled to break down a disciplined Fulham defence.
The draw was another frustrating result for Liverpool, who created little despite having a star-studded attack. Iraola, however, believes Barcola still needs time to fully adapt, particularly after missing much of pre-season and only recently joining the squad.
The Liverpool boss remains confident that the French winger will improve as his fitness, understanding with his teammates and familiarity with the Premier League continue to develop.
Liverpool will now look to respond quickly and rediscover their attacking sharpness after dropping two valuable points at Anfield.
Do you think Barcola needs more time, or should Liverpool expect more from a £123m signing already?
