Mohamed Salah Receives Six-Month Driving Ban Following Rolls-Royce Speeding Incident
Mohamed Salah has reportedly been banned from driving for six months after failing to provide information about who was behind the wheel of his Rolls-Royce when the vehicle was caught speeding in Wilmslow, Cheshire, earlier this year.
According to a report from The Sun, the incident happened in March, just two days after Salah announced that he would be leaving Liverpool.
The Egypt international’s electric Rolls-Royce Spectre was recorded travelling at 36mph in an area where the speed limit was 30mph. However, the original speeding charge was later withdrawn.
Instead, Salah was convicted in his absence for failing to identify the driver of the vehicle when requested. He was subsequently ordered to pay a £660 fine, along with £120 in court costs and a £264 victim surcharge.
The latest driving ban adds to Salah’s previous motoring offence. In 2022, the forward was fined £200 and received three penalty points after being caught speeding while driving his Ferrari.
Salah, who is now 34 and playing for Trabzonspor, will therefore be unable to legally drive for the next six months as a result of the latest case.
