While teammate Yan Diomande attracted much of the attention during Leipzig’s third-place Bundesliga finish and qualification for the UEFA Champions League, Nusa was equally influential. In his second campaign in Germany, the Norwegian winger registered four goals and three assists, regularly causing problems for defenders with his explosive pace and excellent dribbling.

Nusa also made headlines at the FIFA World Cup by scoring a stunning winner in Norway’s 2-1 victory over Ivory Coast, securing a place in the round of 16. After receiving a pass from Martin Ødegaard on the left wing, he cut inside and curled a superb strike into the top-right corner, showcasing the match-winning quality that has become a hallmark of his game.

His impressive displays throughout the season and at the World Cup have sparked widespread interest across Europe. According to reports from Fussballdaten, several clubs are expected to compete for his signature this summer.

Tottenham are believed to be among the strongest contenders for the 21-year-old, with the report suggesting the North London club are seriously interested in bringing him to the Premier League.

Leipzig are reportedly open to selling Nusa if they receive offers in the region of £42 million, and Roberto De Zerbi’s side are said to be keeping a close watch on the situation.

However, Spurs will not have a clear path to completing the deal, as Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, Juventus and Bayern Munich are also monitoring the Norwegian winger.

Although Nusa has yet to score five league goals in a single top-flight season, raising some doubts about his end product, his exceptional dribbling ability makes him a constant threat. He averaged 3.0 successful dribbles per 90 minutes in the Bundesliga last season, ranking third in the division behind only teammate Yan Diomande (4.3) and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Ayoube Amaimouni-Echghouyab (3.1).
