Mudryk Explains new goal celebration as he talks up Newcastle strike

Mykhailo Mudryk has reacted to the fantastic solo goal he bagged against Newcastle United earlier this week.

The Blues picked up a hard-fought 3-2 win against Eddie Howe’s men at Stamford Bridge on Monday night, thanks to the Ukrainian, who scored their third goal just moments after coming on for Raheem Sterling.

“I felt this unbelievable roar [from the crowd],” Mudryk later explained to the official Chelsea website, while speaking about his goal. “It was one of my best moments since I’ve been here at Chelsea.

“It was like goosebumps, you know.”

The 23-year-old also shed some light on his new goal celebration style which involves him slapping his wrist area, more or less, adding: “It meant it was God’s time. You know, stay calm, don’t worry.”
