The Detroit Pistons are set to host the Memphis Grizzlies at Little Caesars Arena in a Monday evening clash between teams already eliminated from playoff contention. This game will mark the second-to-last home fixture for the Pistons this season and the first of two encounters with the Grizzlies this week.
In their initial matchup this season on December 6th, the Pistons fell short to the Grizzlies, with Memphis clinching a 116-102 victory. Desmond Bane of Memphis led the charge, delivering a career-high 49 points, which contributed to the Pistons’ 18th consecutive loss at the time. Jaren Jackson Jr., a former standout at Michigan State, also showcased his skills, notching 24 points, four rebounds, and three blocks.
Former Pistons forward Bojan Bogdanovic led Detroit’s efforts with 22 points and seven assists.
