Everton to agree stadium naming rights deal imminently – Keith Wyness

Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has insisted he expects a naming rights deal for the club’s new stadium to be in place for the start of the 2024-25 campaign.

Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – claimed a partner will get “bang for their buck” with concerts and test events set to be held after the stadium’s completion at the end of 2024.

The American billionaire struck an exclusivity agreement to buy Farhad Moshiri’s majority stake in the Merseyside club last Friday (21 June).
