Federico Chiesa is reportedly attracting interest from three Serie A clubs as speculation grows over a possible Liverpool exit in the January transfer window.
According to the report, Inter Milan, Atalanta and Lazio are monitoring the Italian forward’s situation, with Chiesa reportedly keen on a return to Italy. However, there are no concrete talks or agreement yet.
Chiesa joined Liverpool from Juventus in 2024 but has struggled to establish himself as a regular first-team player. The report notes that he has made 50 appearances and scored five goals for the Reds, while his playing time has remained limited.
The situation has become more difficult this season. Chiesa has not played a minute in the current campaign and was also left out of Liverpool’s Champions League squad.
Interestingly, this follows earlier comments from Chiesa indicating that he was happy at Liverpool and wanted to prove himself under manager Andoni Iraola. His father also said in September that Chiesa was not thinking about leaving the club.
With the January window approaching, Inter, Atalanta and Lazio could potentially make moves, but at this stage the story remains transfer interest rather than a confirmed Liverpool exit.
In short: Chiesa’s future at Anfield is uncertain, and a return to Serie A could become a possibility in January if the interest develops into formal negotiations.
