FURIOUS TOTTENHAM FANS SLAM STRUGGLING STAR AFTER CRYSTAL PALACE WIN, INSISTING HE MUST BE DROPPED

TOTTENHAM FANS FUME AT STRUGGLING STAR AFTER CRYSTAL PALACE WIN

Tottenham Hotspur secured a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace, but not every player impressed the supporters, with Dominic Solanke and other attacking players facing criticism.

Palace were reduced to ten men in the 12th minute after Jean-Philippe Mateta was sent off for a reckless challenge on Micky van de Ven. Spurs took advantage when Archie Gray headed home from a corner to give the hosts the lead.

Tottenham struggled to create clear opportunities for much of the game, but Jan Paul van Hecke eventually secured the win with a second-half header following Dean Henderson’s initial save.

TOTTENHAM PLAYER PERFORMANCES

Antonin Kinsky had a relatively quiet evening as Spurs controlled the match against ten-man Palace.

Archie Gray impressed at right-back, scoring the opening goal with a well-timed header. Van Hecke also delivered an outstanding performance, defending effectively and scoring the decisive second goal.

Micky van de Ven remained dependable at the back, while Andy Robertson contributed with several dangerous crosses.

Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes were praised for their midfield work, with Fernandes particularly impressive in winning possession and disrupting Palace’s attacks.

Mohammed Kudus caused problems down the right flank with his pace and dribbling, providing Tottenham with a consistent attacking threat.

FANS QUESTION ATTACKING PLAYERS

Omar Marmoush struggled to influence the game despite Tottenham having a numerical advantage. His lack of contribution in the final third raised further questions about his performance.

Mathys Tel also endured a difficult outing after his impressive display against Chelsea. His decision-making and final delivery were disappointing, potentially putting his starting position at risk.

Dominic Solanke received some of the harshest criticism. The striker struggled to make an impact, with his movement and involvement in the attack failing to create enough opportunities.

His performance could intensify competition for the striker position as Tottenham’s other attacking options become available.

SUBSTITUTES PROVIDE ENERGY

Pedro Porro brought greater attacking urgency after coming on at half-time, while Conor Gallagher worked hard following his introduction.

Luca Williams-Barnett impressed during his brief appearance, showing confidence and skill that nearly resulted in an assist for Kudus.

Despite the criticism directed at certain players, Tottenham completed another important victory, continuing their positive run of form under Roberto De Zerbi.
