Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on another summer signing, with journalist Alasdair Gold reporting that Marcos Senesi’s move to North London could be officially completed as early as Monday.
Spurs have already secured Andy Robertson on a free transfer and are making progress in their pursuit of Manchester City winger Savinho as Roberto De Zerbi continues to reshape his squad.
Senesi is expected to be the next arrival, with only the official announcement still pending. Meanwhile, Tottenham remain determined to strengthen their defence further and are continuing talks over a move for Brighton centre-back Jan Paul van Hecke, who is reportedly keen on joining Spurs despite interest from Liverpool and Chelsea.
The potential arrivals of Senesi and Van Hecke could pave the way for a major defensive departure, with captain Cristian Romero still strongly linked with a move away this summer.
