Barcelona could receive a €2 million windfall if Tottenham complete a move for a former La Masia defender this summer.

Barcelona could be in line for an unexpected financial boost this summer as former academy graduate Sergi Dominguez attracts interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Lazio.

The young centre-back has impressed since joining Dinamo Zagreb in 2025, prompting growing interest across Europe. While Lazio have already seen a €5 million bid rejected, Tottenham have now entered the race and are reportedly willing to offer up to €9 million for the defender.

Barcelona included a 20% sell-on clause when they sold Dominguez, meaning a deal worth around €9 million could earn the Catalan club close to €2 million. With Barça looking to strengthen their financial position ahead of the summer transfer window, any income from Dominguez’s potential move would provide a welcome boost as they continue planning for next season.
