Tottenham Hotspur have wasted no time strengthening their squad ahead of the new season, completing six major first-team signings already—and their summer business is far from over.
The latest arrival is Sandro Tonali, who joined the club on Monday in a record-breaking £100 million transfer. The Italian midfielder joins Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Martin Dubravka, Jan Paul van Hecke and Mateus Fernandes as part of Roberto De Zerbi’s ambitious rebuild in north London.
Despite an impressive start to the transfer window, Spurs are still eager to reinforce their attacking options. According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham are now preparing an opening bid worth around £75 million for Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi.
The highly rated French teenager enjoyed a sensational breakthrough Premier League campaign, scoring 12 goals and earning widespread praise for his performances. His rapid rise has attracted interest from several European giants, including Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Tottenham are believed to be leading the race, largely because they can offer Kroupi a prominent first-team role. At PSG, he would likely face fierce competition from established stars such as Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue.
Spurs’ hierarchy remain determined to support De Zerbi in the transfer market and are preparing a substantial opening offer in an attempt to persuade Bournemouth to sell. While the Cherries have insisted they do not intend to part with their prized youngster this summer, Tottenham are hopeful the promise of regular football, combined with a lucrative bid, could change the situation.
The North London club have already shattered their transfer spending record twice this window, highlighting their determination to rebuild after back-to-back 17th-place Premier League finishes. Although Kroupi is unlikely to command a fee matching Tonali’s £100 million move, he would still represent another major investment.
Viewed as one of the brightest young attacking talents in Europe, Kroupi fits the profile Tottenham are targeting as they look to build a squad capable of challenging near the top of the Premier League once again.
