TRANSFER NEWS: CHELSEA AND BAYERN MUNICH WANT FLORIAN WIRTZ
Chelsea and Bayern Munich have been linked with a potential move for Liverpool midfielder Florian Wirtz amid growing speculation about his future at Anfield.
Chelsea’s interest is reportedly linked to manager Xabi Alonso, who previously worked with Wirtz at Bayer Leverkusen. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich have also been mentioned as potential suitors, although club president Herbert Hainer recently stated that signing the German international is not currently a priority.
Wirtz joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen in 2025 for a reported £116 million and remains under contract until 2030. Despite facing criticism over his performances, recent reports suggest the 23-year-old is determined to stay at Liverpool and prove himself.
