Vincent Kompany Addresses Liverpool’s Reported Interest in Michael Olise
Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has reportedly responded to growing speculation linking Michael Olise with Liverpool, while maintaining that the French winger remains fully focused on his future with the Bundesliga champions.
During a recent pre-season press conference, Kompany is said to have praised Olise’s outstanding ability, admitting it is only natural for Europe’s biggest clubs to take notice of a player performing at such a high level.
“Michael is an exceptional footballer,” Kompany reportedly said. “When a player consistently performs the way he has, clubs like Liverpool will always show interest. That’s football. The best players attract attention, but Michael is committed to Bayern and continues to give everything for the team.”
His reported remarks have added fresh fuel to speculation over Liverpool’s transfer plans as the Reds continue exploring options to strengthen their attack before the new campaign begins.
Liverpool are believed to have admired Olise for some time, with the club impressed by his technical quality, creativity, versatility and ability to influence games across multiple attacking positions. The French international has built a reputation as one of Europe’s most exciting wingers thanks to his dribbling, vision, and finishing ability.
