🚨 Liverpool Expect January Offers for Florian Wirtz as Bayern Munich Ramp Up Interest
Liverpool are bracing themselves for fresh interest in Florian Wirtz when the January transfer window opens, but the Reds remain firmly committed to keeping the Germany international at Anfield.
The 23-year-old has yet to consistently live up to expectations since arriving from Bayer Leverkusen in 2025 for a huge transfer fee, with his performances continuing to attract scrutiny.
Wirtz arrived at Liverpool for an initial £100 million, with the deal potentially reaching £116m in total. However, his second season has got off to a slow start, giving several European clubs hope that a future transfer could be possible.
Bayern Munich are reportedly among the clubs keeping a close eye on the Liverpool midfielder.

According to AS, Liverpool are preparing for potential January bids for Florian Wirtz, with Bayern Munich among the clubs linked with a move. However, the Reds are expected to stand firm and reject any approaches for the midfielder.
Bayern’s interest in Wirtz is nothing new. The German giants were genuine contenders for his signature before Liverpool secured his transfer and have continued to monitor his situation closely. TEAMtalk claims Bayern would be prepared to make a move if Liverpool ever become willing to sell.
The renewed speculation is largely driven by Wirtz’s recent numbers. He registered 15 goal contributions in 49 appearances during his first season at Liverpool, but has recorded just one assist from five competitive games so far this campaign.
Adding to the concern, Wirtz has now gone 12 consecutive competitive matches for both club and country without finding the back of the net.
🚨 Liverpool Urged to Resist Any Temptation to Sell Florian Wirtz

Liverpool would risk making a major mistake by judging Florian Wirtz’s transfer solely on his current run of form and deciding that the move has already failed.
Andoni Iraola is still working to identify the position and tactical setup that brings out the best in the Germany international. Football Insider reported this week that the Liverpool boss remains keen to keep Wirtz and is continuing to explore different tactical options to get the most from him.
That appears to be the more logical approach at this stage.
Wirtz was at his most effective in Germany when he operated between the lines, linked up quickly around the box and was given the freedom to move into central areas. Liverpool have not consistently created the same conditions for him since his arrival.
A sale at this point would also raise financial questions. Liverpool invested up to £116m in the midfielder just a year ago, while his market value is unlikely to be at its peak during a period in which he is struggling to produce goals.
Former Liverpool midfielder Vladimir Smicer has also called on the club to resist any move to sell Wirtz to Bayern Munich, insisting that the German still possesses the quality to become a key figure at Anfield.
