Susanna Reid says ‘I’ll be back’ as she confirms break from Good Morning Britain
Susanna Reid presents Good Morning Britian during weekdays alongside Richard Madeley and Ed Balls, discussing the recent headlines.
Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid confirmed she would be missing from the ITV morning chatshow for the next two weeks as she takes a break over the half-term.
As the show came to an end, Susanna revealed that the show would be back tomorrow, however, she would be returning in two weeks’ time.
Co-star Richard Madeley turned to Susanna and said: “Have a lovely time off,” before they handed over to Lorraine Kelly for her 9am show.
Susanna often takes the half-terms off to spend time with her children when they are out of school.
There has been no mention as to who will be replacing Susanna, but Kate Garraway, Charlotte Hawkins, and Ranvir Singh are usually the front runners.
Susanna is a big part of the GMB team and has a good relationship with her colleagues, especially Ben Shephard who she recently left feeling embarrassed.
Last week, Susanna and Ben were discussing whether couples should shower before getting romantic and intimate.
The topic of discussion came after they chatted about the recent bed bug problem taking place in France, but Ben asked viewers: “Question for you this morning, should you and your partner scrub up before getting down to romance? We’re debating this later on, Susanna.”
Susanna became confused over the segment and asked: “What, in case they’ve just come from the Eurostar and they might be covered in the blood-sucking mites?”
