Susanna Reid still living with her ex for sake of their three boys
FROM starring in Strictly to vamping up the landscape of British breakfast TV, glamorous Susanna Reid has never lived her life the conventional way.
And the presenter is continuing to blaze her own trail when it comes to her rather unusual living arrangements.
Susanna, 43, has revealed that while she is firmly separated from her former partner, they are still living under the same roof – almost a year after they announced their split.
The Good Morning Britain host admits people are “surprised” that she is still living with Dominic Cotton, the father of her three boys.
But she insists the unusual set-up works as the boys “seem sorted” despite their parents now sleeping in different bedrooms.
The Strictly Come Dancing star split with Dominic last year after they struggled with the pressures of balancing their professional and personal lives.
The couple have remained friends for the sake of their boys, Sam, 12, Finn, 10, and Jack, nine and they share the house, despite the fact Dominic is now dating someone new.
“We live separately but together and happily in the same house,” she said.
“I’m not saying everybody can do it and I definitely think people are surprised that we can do it this way.
“Obviously we’ve been through a bit since splitting up because a separation is always going to be sad. But it’s nice for the children that they know Mum and Dad are still there.”
She added: “Dom is such a hands-on dad and we really co-parent.
“I’m privileged to have a great relationship with my ex, to the point where we can live together comfortably and he can have a new relationship.”
