The Lady Vols are aware of where they stand in the NCAA Tournament.
In the Portland 4 Region of March Madness, Tennessee is ranked as the sixth seed.
To begin the tournament, the Lady Vols will take on Green Bay, ranked eleventh. The match will take place in Raleigh, North Carolina, and NC State, the #2 seed, will probably play the game on its home court in the second round.

Two-seed Stanford and seven-seed Iowa State are probable Tennessee’s opponents if they advance to their third consecutive Sweet 16 appearance.
The top three seeds in its region are Utah (five), Gonzaga (four), and Texas (one).
It would be the program’s first Elite Eight since 2016. It would be the first Final Four since taking home the championship in 2008.

Tennessee has victories in the SEC Tournament over Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Auburn, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt twice, and Alabama. But it also had losses against Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Florida State, Indiana, Notre Dame, Ohio State, MTSU, Alabama, LSU, and South Carolina (twice).
