Kate Garraway hints at ‘positive news’ on tomorrow’s Good Morning Britain: ‘All the news and some smiles because we all need that right now’
Kate Garraway has hinted that she will be delivering some good news on tomorrow’s Good Morning Britain.
The ITV host will be joined by Adil Ray on Monday’s GMB, who will be stepping in for Ben Shephard while he takes some time off to focus on his other show Tipping Point.
It comes after Adil shared a smiley selfie of the pair on Instagram where he told his followers he would give Kate a ‘big bloomin’ hug’ when he sees her.
To which Kate responded with a post of her own where she hinted that she will share some news and ‘some smiles’ on tomorrow’s chat show.
‘Well saved Adil,’ she wrote.
‘Think hugs are out but we can recreate a socially distanced version of this slightly demented selfie – will that do you!?!’
‘Looking forward to seeing you and everyone on GMB tomorrow,’ Kate added.
‘All the news you need – and there’s a lot of it right now- and some smiles because we all need that too right now don’t we.’
Over the last few months, the news anchor has undergone a very public battle with her husband Derek’s diagnosis with coronavirus, where he was placed into a coma.
Kate’s post also comes after ITV presenter Andi Peters told how the channel would not censor the I’m A Celebrity stars’ emotions to viewers.
‘It’s been amazing having Kate back on the telly,’ the presenter, who can be seen most days presenting GMB segments from his garage, revealed.
‘Genuinely it has made me smile and you can see when she is doing some item, they are so close to home.
