Jason Bonham, the son of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, is set to hit the road once again with his acclaimed “Led Zeppelin Evening” tour—this time to mark the 50th anniversary of the iconic Physical Graffiti album. The North American tour kicks off on May 3, 2025, and promises a nostalgic celebration of the groundbreaking double album that cemented Led Zeppelin’s place in rock history.
Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening has garnered praise for its authentic and emotionally charged performances, paying homage to one of rock’s most enduring legacies. This anniversary tour is expected to be a particularly special outing, with the band focusing heavily on tracks from Physical Graffiti, including classics like “Kashmir,” “In My Time of Dying,” “Trampled Under Foot,” and the haunting “Ten Years Gone.”
Joining Bonham on stage will be a powerhouse lineup of musicians: James Dylan returns on vocals, bringing a powerful presence and vocal style reminiscent of Robert Plant; Dorian Heartsong anchors the low end on bass, capturing the groove and complexity of John Paul Jones’ work; and Akio “Mr. Jimmy” Sakurai takes on the towering task of channeling Jimmy Page’s guitar wizardry. Sakurai, a devoted Page disciple, has built a global following for his meticulous recreation of Led Zeppelin’s live performances, earning the nickname “Mr. Jimmy” for his uncanny resemblance in tone, technique, and stage presence.
The tour is scheduled to span multiple cities across the United States and Canada, with stops in major markets such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, and Nashville. Each night promises not just a concert, but a full-scale Zeppelin experience—complete with elaborate visual production and a setlist designed to transport fans back to the band’s 1975 peak.
