ITV GMB’s Kate Garraway in ‘crisis’ live on air as co-host Adil Ray lends a hand
Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway was left flustered during Friday’s show and her co-host Adil Ray was quick to jump in and help her out
Adil Ray swiftly came to Kate Garraway’s aid after she became “flustered” during Friday’s edition of the show, on Good Morning Britain. Having returned to the studio after a segment on the General Election, a somewhat disconcerted Kate started off by saying, “Well, thanks very much indeed that was our story.”
Midway through attempting to read the autocue and tucking her hair behind her ear, Kate found herself in a slight tangle. With a high-pitched giggle, she held up her hands and confessed: “I was just having a hair crisis! I’m going to be honest.”
Amusement ensued as Adil leapt from his chair and playfully attended to Kate’s hair issue, jesting, “Let me just check this hair now.” After smoothing his co-host’s locks and resuming his spot, he jokingly commented, “Yeah, it looks like it normally does,” reports the Mirror.
However, Kate revealed the reason for her momentary fluster, explaining, “People are saying my hair looks sweaty and it flustered me for a moment. But I’m back, with news and politics now.”
Earlier that week, Susanna Reid earned accolades for her firm handling of Nigel Farage when the Reform UK Party leader encountered rigorous questioning on the ITV morning show. Susanna, along with Ed Balls, took Farage to task about troubling disclosures regarding Reform UK candidates and their associations with Gary Raikes, a known British fascist figure.
Farage’s patience seemed to wear thin when the presenters sought clarification on his party’s tax proposals, prompting him to comment “typical”. Susanna quickly retorted, “What do you mean ‘this is so typical? ‘ Being asked questions and asked to answer them? “.
