Good Morning Britain’s rich list from Susanna Reid’s bumper pay cheque to Richard Madeley’s multi million fortune
THE team at Good Morning Britain wake up at the crack of dawn and make their way to Television Centre – but it appears their salaries soften the blow of the alarm clock.
With a host of different faces beaming back at us from behind the studio lights, who is making the most dough from the breakfast show?
Over the years the presenters have switched, with the biggest change being when Piers Morgan stormed off the set during a row about Meghan Markle.
He has since moved on to host a show on GB News, leaving Susanna Reid at the helm.
Susanna Reid
Susanna Reid is one of the highest paid women on television. In January last year, it was reported that she signed a shiny new deal said to be worth £1.1million.
A source told us: “Susanna’s previous arrangement actually came to an end a short while ago and negotiations have been ongoing, but she kept ITV sweating a bit.
“She knows she is a huge part of the show and is increasingly involved in the day-to-day decisions too, alongside her presenting role.
“Plus there is already uncertainty over who will co-anchor long term after Piers Morgan left so she was definitely in a strong position.”
It is believed that she was earning around £750,000 before her contract expired in 2021.
At the time, Susanna’s representatives refused to comment.
Susanna is best known for her role on Good Morning Britain, but she was with the BBC before.

Richard Madeley
Richard Madeley hosted Richard & Judy alongside his wife Judy from 2001 to 2009 and then featured on This Morning, before hopping over to The Wright Stuff.
Richard was criticised last year after he shared his controversial thoughts on those who were struggling financially on GMB.
Discussing a minister’s guidance to “find better paid jobs” to cope with soaring costs, Richard said: “Do you think that she has got a point? That we are too quick as a society, largely because of social media to jump on the heads of people who are going into areas that are controversial, but some people say need saying.
“In other words ‘God helps people who help themselves’. It’s an old saying but it has a degree of wisdom to it, hasn’t it?”
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Richard is worth £4million, thanks to his television career, books and column.

Kate Garraway
Kate Garraway has been presenting Good Morning Britain for nearly 10 years.
Kate sits beside her co-presenter Ben Shephard, who she has been working with for years now.
The 55-year-old has had a difficult few years after her husband Derek nearly died after contracting Coronavirus.
The former political advisor is said to be one of the worst-affected people in the UK after spending 13 months in hospital.
He suffered brain inflammation, kidney failure, liver damage and his heart stopped beating several times.
It’s been estimated that Kate earns £544,000 annually, which mostly comes from her presenting on GMB.
She’s also a presenter on Smooth Radio, which bumps up her salary.
