Charlotte Hawkins breaks down in tears on GMB over death of beloved family dog

Charlotte Hawkins struggled to hold back her tears as she opened up about the death of her beloved family dog.

The Good Morning Britain star, whose pet pooch Bailey died recently just days after being filmed for her new documentary Dangerous Dogs: What’s The Truth?, was visibly emotional after co-star Adil Ray brought up her loss and offered his condolences.

‘Yeah, which is very sad. There she is, that was on our – sorry,’ she said as she started to cry as a photo was shown on screen. ‘That was our last day with her.’

The AGE-year-old presenter – who noted Bailey was ‘not a dangerous dog at all’ and was only included in the documentary to show Charlotte as a dog owner – thanked everyone for their support after the death earlier this month.

She added: ‘It’s hit me really hard actually. Thank you to everybody who sent me messages because I haven’t been able to talk about it, and… so much support from people.

‘I think for anyone who’s lost a pet, you know how much they mean to you. She was with us for 16 years, a beautiful gorgeous rescue dog, who we loved very dearly, and she was a massive part of our family.
