Good news as two key Chelsea players return to full training ahead of important Leicester City clash
Chelsea have been handed a massive boost, as they prepare to face Leicester City in the FA Cup on Sunday.
The Blues have confirmed via the club’s official website, that Ben Chilwell and Benoit Badiashile have both returned to full team training this week.
Badiashile has been off and on for Chelsea this season, and has missed the last few matches through injury.
Chilwell was absent for Chelsea in the Premier League win against Newcastle, but was recently named in England’s squad for next week’s friendlies with Brazil and Belgium, suggesting his injury wasn’t anything serious.
We are not sure if the two players will be ready to start against the Foxes, but that is something Mauricio Pochettino will likely address at his pre-match press conference.
Here’s what Chelsea’s injury list looks like right now:
Benoit Badiashile – in team training.
Ben Chilwell – in team training.
Levi Colwill – continuing to undergo his rehabilitation programme.
Wesley Fofana – continuing to undergo his rehabilitation programme.
Reece James – continuing to undergo his rehabilitation programme.
Romeo Lavia – continuing to undergo his rehabilitation programme.
Christopher Nkunku – continuing to undergo his rehabilitation programme.
Lesley Ugochukwu – continuing to undergo his rehabilitation programme.
