Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver with the Miami Dolphins, has drawn attention with his recent Snapchat photos.
On social media on Thursday night, the 30-year-old shared a picture of himself holding Odell Beckham Jr., which appeared to confirm the two-time All-Pro’s signing with the Dolphins.
There hasn’t been any news on Beckham Jr. since free agency began last month.
When he visited the Dolphins in March, head coach Mike McDaniel said he was offered a contract, but he didn’t sign it before leaving the building.
Regarding OBJ’s visit, McDaniel told SI.com, “Everything went great with him.” We did extend an offer to him, but business takes time—especially when it comes to someone like Odell, who has an incredible career ahead of him and still has alternatives. Thus, I anticipate that those discussions will continue. We’ll follow their progress.
The 31-year-old Beckham Jr. last offseason inked a $15 million, one-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens. In 2023, he had just 14 appearances for the team, but he caught 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns. He tied for the second-most first downs via catch (27), and he topped the team in yards per reception (16.1).
After Hill and Jaylen Waddle, the Dolphins are apparently searching for a third receiver. Apart from their output, no other wide receiver on the club achieved 30 receptions or 300 yards last season, despite the fact that the two combined for 191 catches, 2,813 yards, and 17 touchdowns.
