Breaking News: NRL has suspended six key players from Wku football due to…

Rabbitohs centre Richie Kennar is facing a lengthy ban for a high shot on Wests Tigers winger Luke Laulilii.

Kennar was sent to the sin bin for the tackle in the 31st minute of Saturday night’s match at Campbelltown Sports Stadium and has been charged with a Grade 2 Careless High Tackle.

As this is his third and subsequent offence of this nature he is looking at a three-match ban with an early guilty plea, increasing to four games should he fight the charge and be found guilty at the panel.

Rabbitohs teammate Cameron Murray is facing a $1000 fine for a Dangerous Contact offence.

Raiders duo Josh Papalii (Dangerous Contact) and Emre Guler (Dangerous Throw) are both facing fines following their loss to the Cowboys in Townsville, while Dolphins forward Felise Kaufusi has also been charged with a Dangerous Contact offence.

Eels forward Wiremu Greig may have played his last match of the season after being charged with a Grade 3 Careless High Tackle on Sydney Roosters utility Connor Watson.

Greig faces a two-match ban if he enters an early plea or a three-match suspension if he unsuccessfully challenges the charge at the NRL judiciary, ending his season as Parramatta only have three more games to play.

He was sinbinned for the 15th minute incident, which ruled Watson out of the match and next Sunday’s match against the Titans due to the NRL’s 11-day stand down for head knocks.

Eels captain Clint Gutherson was also charged with Dangerous Contact on James Tedesco, as was Roosters lock Victor Radley for a tackle on Shaun Lane, but the pair are free to play after being hit with fines.

Warriors utility Chanel Harris-Tavita was charged with a Grade 1 Crusher Tackle on Manly forward Nathan Brown and faces a $3000 fine with an early plea or a two-match ban if he loses at the judiciary.

Sea Eagles centre Reuben Garrick also faces a fine after being charged with Dangerous Contact on Warriors fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad.
