Good Morning Britain viewers were stunned when Susanna Reid returned to the show just two days after bidding farewell.
Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid sparked divide as she returned to the show just two days after saying goodbye to viewers.
Susanna had told fans that she was taking a lengthy break from the show for the summer holidays, but it seems she then jetted straight out to Berlin for the Euros final.
As Susanna spoke to Kate Garraway and Adil Ray via video link, fans rushed to social media to share their confusion about why Susanna was there.
One said: “Great to see Susanna Reid has managed to get to Berlin… I mean millions of proper fans have been priced out. £1200 flights, £900 trains it’s an absolute disgrace!!”
Another added: “So GMB has one correspondent in Berlin and now they have sent Susanna there. Why?!”
A third chipped in: “Reid so entitled. How many presenters do we need out there??”, as a fourth asked: “So Reid gets a free pass to the final.”
As Susanna appeared in Berlin along with the GMB correspondent, Adil joked about going round to her home so the ITV stars could all watch the tense match of England v Spain together.
Susanna asked fans: “Where are you going to be watching on Sunday night?” to which Adil replied: “Susanna, just checking, where are you going to be on Sunday night? Because we’re all coming round to yours if that’s alright. I’ll bring stuff, we’ll all bring stuff. Is that okay?”
The GMB presenter then responded: “You’re all welcome, because I’m coming home, because I don’t have a ticket to the game.”
