We hope this letter finds you well. Today, we, David and Madison, feel it’s the right time to share a significant and unexpected announcement that we believe will have a profound impact not only on our lives but on yours as well. As a couple who has participated in the 2025 season of Married at First Sight, we understand the value of transparency, commitment, and, most importantly, honesty. It is with these principles in mind that we wish to share our thoughts with you.
Over the course of this season, we have seen love, challenges, and growth — all in the public eye. Yet, through everything, one thing has remained clear: the deep bond and understanding between us, David and Madison, and the love we’ve shared. We want to take a moment to acknowledge how much this journey has meant to us and express our gratitude for the experiences we’ve had so far.
That being said, we know that the journey of Married at First Sight doesn’t always lead to the expected outcomes. It’s been a rollercoaster, filled with emotional highs and lows, but we’ve realized something that has become an undeniable truth: things between us and the other couples have shifted in unexpected ways. We have come to a crossroads, and after much reflection, we feel it’s time to step into a new chapter — one where we can redefine what it means to grow, not just as individuals, but also as a collective.
Our decision is rooted in our desire for a future that aligns with the values of honesty and self-awareness. Over time, we’ve come to understand that certain relationships, no matter how promising they may seem at the start, may not be meant to continue in their original form. Our time on Married at First Sight has been a learning experience — and for that, we are forever grateful.
But our announcement to you, Beth and Teejay, comes with a deeper purpose. You, as a couple, have been pillars of support, love, and insight throughout this process. Your growth as individuals and as partners has inspired us in ways words cannot fully capture. However, the time has come for us to take a step back from our current dynamic. It’s not a decision we make lightly, but it’s a necessary one to ensure we all move forward with respect and care for each other’s paths.
We want to assure you that this decision was made thoughtfully and with mutual understanding. It’s not about separation or discord but about allowing all of us the space to evolve and make choices that serve our individual happiness. We believe that relationships — romantic or platonic — should lift us up, encourage us to be the best versions of ourselves, and allow us to grow in ways that may not always be comfortable but are ultimately enriching.
David and Madison will no longer continue with the process as part of the 2025 Married at First Sight experiment, but our appreciation for the journey we’ve shared with you remains. We will always cherish the memories, the lessons, and the growth we’ve gained from our interactions. We truly believe that this is the right choice for all involved, as it will allow us to explore our own futures without carrying the weight of expectations that no longer fit.
Thank you for understanding and for the love you’ve shown us. We wish you both nothing but the best as you continue to navigate this journey, and we hope that our decision will be seen as a testament to the respect and care we have for all that we’ve shared.
With love and gratitude,
David & Madison
