ITV’s Good Morning Britain announces major shake-up as Susanna Reid confirms exit
Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid has announced she will be leaving the show for the next two weeks for a mini hiatus during the half-term holidays.
Good Morning Britain will undergo a huge shake-up as host Susanna Reid announced her departure on Wednesday’s show.
The much-loved host – who regularly presents the ITV morning show – will take some time away from the panel, which she often co-hosts alongside Richard Madeley and Ben Shephard, reports the Mirror.
The news anchor will be absent from the show for two weeks during the half-term holidays, spending time with her family and kids whilst they’re off school.
Following her recent chat with Lorraine, the 52-year-old said: “I am back in two weeks,” as Kelly replied: “We will miss you. Have a great time, Susanna.” Susanna’s co-anchor Richard said: “Have a lovely time off,” as the show came to an end.
Her announcement comes shortly after Richard Madeley apologised for comments which he made during Tuesday’s episode of the programme.
