Mathieu van der Poel finally captured the Rainbow Jersey on the road last year in Glasgow. Can he defend his World Championship title in 2024? Well we now know the support team joining Van der Poel in the Dutch orange in Zurich.
Playing a supporting role for Van der Poel in his quest for a second straight World Championship road race win, will be Team Visma | Lease a Bike duo Wilco Kelderman and Bart Lemmen, experienced figure Bauke Mollema and Lidl-Trek teammate Daan Hoole, who also compete in the individual time trial. Completing the lineup, Sam Oomen, Oscar Riesebeek, Frank van den Broek and Sjoerd Ba byx.
