Swansea City boss Luke Williams admits he understands the criticism around his second-half substitutions during Sunday’s South Wales derby with Cardiff City.
Swansea were denied a sixth win in seven derby-day outings at the Swansea.com Stadium after Cardiff’s Callum Robinson came off the bench to cancel out Liam Cullen’s early effort.
Given Swansea’s dominance of the first half, it was a disappointing ending to what had initially looked like another derby day to savour for the Swans. But substitute Robinson, along with the likes of Ollie Tanner and Rubin Colwill, injected a new lease of life into Cardiff’s efforts after the break in a way that Swansea’s subs simply didn’t.
