Drake Milligan cancels Jackson concert last-minute due to illness

Rising country music artist Drake Milligan canceled his concert at the inaugural Keath Killebrew Memorial Rodeo just moments before taking the stage.

Citing an unspecified illness, the America’s Got Talent finalist took to social media to announce that he would not be able to perform at the Mississippi Coliseum following Saturday’s round of rodeo events.

“Breaks my heart to have to do this, but I promise I’ll make it up to y’all in Jackson, MS,” Milligan wrote on Facebook.

Those who purchased passes to Saturday night’s concert are encouraged to hold on to their tickets, which will be redeemable at a later date.
