Susanna Reid has confirmed her split from long-term partner Dominic Cotton.

The BBC Breakfast co-host stated that she is still on good terms with the father of her three children.

“Susanna Reid and Dominic Cotton have agreed to separate but remain good friends,” her agent said in a statement.

“The welfare of their children remains paramount for both of them at this time. Please respect their space and privacy.”

The statement was made after tabloid newspapers revealed that Cotton had joined dating website Match.com.

His profile stated that he was looking for a woman aged between 35 and 45 and that he was “currently separated”.

Reid and Cotton had been together since 1998, but were not married. They have three sons together.

The Strictly Come Dancing finalist has recently been linked with a £1 million deal to join ITV for a new breakfast show.
