Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid was left up in arms after her co-host Ben Shephard for forgetting his wedding anniversary in a heated relationship row.

During Thursday’s visit (July 6) to the ITV studios, the dynamic dup woke up the nation with the latest headlines in the news.

One of the biggest stories on everybody’s lips was the ongoing discussion around whether or not you should allow your partner to go through your phone or not.

To get a balanced opinion on this dividing discussion, the presenting duo welcomed former Love Island star Tanyel Revan and influencer Junaid Ahmed onto the show to share their thoughts.

But it’s fair to say things got off to a rocky start when the Tipping Point star opened the discussion on air as he discussed his relationship with his adoring wife Annie.

He said: “When you’ve been in a relationship for quite a long time like I have, I’ve been with my wife for, well I can’t even begin to remember …”

It was at this point that Susanna interjected, saying: “One of the rules is remembering the anniversary and how many years it’s been.”

The dad-of-two then went on to reveal one wedding essential he insisted on so that he would never forget his special day with life-long partner.

He confessed: “I had the date engraved on my wedding ring a long time ago because I knew I’d forget.”

Fans were quick to notice how the host swiftly moved on with the topic as the brunette beauty shook her head in disappointment.
