I am writing this letter to express the deep hurt and confusion I am feeling. For the past two days, you have stopped texting me because you believe you are in contact with someone who claims to be me, but is actually an imposter. This situation has left me feeling incredibly hurt and disappointed, as I cannot believe that you would fall for such a deception.

I know how important trust is in our relationship, and it is devastating to think that you would doubt me so easily. I’ve always been upfront with you, and the fact that you allowed an imposter to create such confusion really shakes me. It makes me question whether the bond we’ve shared is as strong as I thought. It hurts to think that, in a moment when I needed you to believe in me, you chose to step back rather than trust that I would be truthful with you.

I want to make it clear that I have not been pretending to be anyone other than myself. The person you’ve been in contact with isn’t me, and I am truly struggling to understand why you would believe otherwise. It feels as though the trust I’ve worked so hard to build with you has been shattered, and I don’t know how to make sense of this situation. I feel like I’ve been falsely accused of something I didn’t do, and that is a painful place to be in.

I understand that we are living in a world where things like this can happen, and it’s not unreasonable for you to be cautious. But what hurts the most is that, instead of coming to me directly to ask about the situation, you decided to withdraw without seeking clarity from me first. I have always tried to communicate openly with you, and it’s difficult to face the idea that you didn’t feel the need to do the same.

I hope, in time, we can find a way to talk about this more openly and honestly. I’m feeling a lot of pain right now, and I don’t want this confusion to drive a wedge between us. Please understand that I’m not angry, just deeply hurt by what’s unfolded. I value our connection more than anything, and it’s my hope that we can work through this misunderstanding together.
