- Russell Wilson (QB) – The Broncos’ success starts with their quarterback. After a disappointing 2022, Wilson showed flashes of improvement under new head coach Sean Payton in 2023. If he can continue to evolve and stay consistent, Wilson could be the spark the Broncos need to turn the offense around and become a contender.
- Jerry Jeudy (WR) – The talented wide receiver has shown promise but has yet to fully break out. If Jeudy can stay healthy and establish chemistry with Wilson, he could become a game-changing playmaker. His ability to stretch the field and make explosive plays is crucial for Denver’s offensive success.
- Courtland Sutton (WR) – Another key target in the passing game, Sutton’s physicality and size make him a reliable option in critical situations. If he can stay consistent and continue to be a red zone threat, the Broncos’ offense will be much more dangerous.
- Javonte Williams (RB) – The running back position will also be crucial for the Broncos in 2024. Williams showed promise before a knee injury sidelined him. If he can return to form and provide a balanced attack alongside Wilson, the Broncos’ offense will be much more dynamic.
- Pat Surtain II (CB) – One of the league’s premier cornerbacks, Surtain’s ability to shut down top receivers gives the Broncos defense an elite edge. His lockdown coverage can force turnovers and give the offense more opportunities to capitalize on field position.
- Randy Gregory (OLB) – If Gregory stays healthy and returns to his form from earlier in his career, his pass-rushing abilities could provide a consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks. A strong pass rush is essential for the Broncos’ defense to remain effective.
These six players have the potential to be the foundation of a much more successful 2024 season.
