Hello, fellow campers!
We’re currently enjoying our trip at Lake Louisa State Park, and I wanted to share an important tip we learned today. We had originally planned to camp alongside friends who had booked the site next to us. However, they weren’t able to make it.
Just yesterday, when I reached out to them, they mentioned they had forgotten to cancel their reservation. Once they realized, they promptly canceled the spot. For those wondering if canceled sites get refilled, I can confirm that they do! New campers quickly occupied the site that was just vacated.
This experience highlights the importance of canceling reservations if your plans change. Not only does it help others looking for a spot, but it ensures that the park can accommodate more visitors. So, if you need to cancel, don’t hesitate—it can make a difference for someone else!
Happy camping!
