John Paul Jones, the bassist and keyboardist of Led Zeppelin, has been married to Mo Jones (born Maureen) since 1967. Their long-lasting marriage is quite remarkable, especially considering the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle of the era. Unlike some of his bandmates, Jones managed to keep his personal life relatively private and stable, avoiding much of the turbulence that surrounded Led Zeppelin. Mo Jones has largely stayed out of the spotlight, supporting John Paul Jones throughout his career. The couple has three daughters. Despite his fame, Jones has always been known as a dedicated family man, balancing his life as a musician with his home life.

John Bonham (1948–1980) was one of the greatest drummers in rock history, known for his powerful, fast, and innovative drumming style. His influence can be heard in countless rock and metal bands. After the grueling touring schedule of the early 70s and just as recording started for the Physical Graffiti album in 1973, John Paul Jones actually considered quitting Led Zeppelin. The extended time away from his family and home, along with the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle, had taken its toll. Luckily their manager, Peter Grant talked him out of it, and he returned to the studio and left an indelible footprint all over the album, Physical Graffiti. I can’t imagine they’re being the song “In the Light” without John Paul Jones input.“We were all very tired and under pressure, and it just came to a head,” Jones told Mojo in 2007. “I didn’t want to harm the group, but I didn’t want my family to fall apart either.”
